Meet your relationship consultant, Rachel Zamore.

Hi, I’m Rachel, and I specialize in helping highly discerning couples figure out how to get unstuck and start moving things forward in a new way. More connection. More clarity. More ease.

After years as a relationship therapist with boutique practices in the San Francisco Bay Area and then Vermont, my practice is now focused on private destination retreats for couples at the crossroads. I love helping couples step out of their day-to-day routines to a place where the pressures and expectations of busy and/or high profile lifestyles can give way to an opportunity to slow down, get real, and dive deep — with expert guidance and nonjudgmental support — about the future of their marriage.

You want to do the right thing, but there’s also a tremendous sense of pressure and it can be hard to feel as clear and spacious as you would want to be when figuring out how to resolve a really tough situation. The intensity of it all can (and often does) exacerbate whatever negative loop you’ve been in, which only makes things harder.

This is where I come in.

Ready to Repair

For couples who are committed to healing, I have deep expertise in relationship repair and renewal and have developed a retreat model to support fast and lasting growth for your marriage. Without feeling rushed, we can accomplish as much in 3-5 days as takes over months in typical couples therapy. Specialities include communication, affair repair, intimacy, connection and trauma. My approach is rooted in a model proven to effect lasting and positive change in 80% of couples. Read more about my Repair & Renewal Retreats here

On the Fence

For couples where you’re not both sure you want to try to save your marriage (or if it might be past a tipping point), I use a proven, structured process to help you figure out whether to stay or go — really, whether to work on it more before making a final decision, based on a deeper understanding of how you got to where you are. My specialty is helping people reclaim the best in themselves and make choices about the future from wholeness and with a more nuanced perspective on familiar problems. My Discernment Retreats are designed for couples where one person is “leaning out” and one is “leaning in”, and much of the retreat time is in individual meetings with me, as the focus is confidence and clarity about your next steps, rather than repair at this point. Read more about my discernment retreats here.

I hope to connect with you soon, and look forward to answering any questions you might have. Congratulations on taking a first step towards getting your relationship the support it needs.
